If you are an NDIS participant and you are interested in a career in hospitality, you may be eligible for BCAL’s Ability CAFE Program. Entry to the program begins in our Wednesday morning training, you will complete a Certificate II in Hospitality over 12 months in our training café.
During the one-year program, you will participate in on the job training and work readiness training. You may also elect to do further training in BCAL’s Life Skill Development, Wellbeing sessions, and Garden Kitchen sessions. These programs are designed to increase community participation, improve wellbeing and independence and develop transferable work skills.
BCAL requires all participants to enter into a service agreement with the centre prior to commencing training.
We can service both self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants and can invoice through either Core or Capacity building, depending on your goals.
Sessions run at a maximum of 1:5.
